Camping & Accommodations

We can't stress enough that options for camping depend on what feels comfortable for you. Below is more information about what is included in our rental and is free for you to enjoy!

Accommodations

If you are not interested in camping and looking for a VRBO or AirBnB, here are some local properties we found, but feel free to do your own research for what best meets your needs and budget.

Camping

Tent Camping

camp site, Cedar Cove

There is a TON of room for tent camping. If you want a private space, or to camp near others, there are options. The east side of the lake is the area for the tent camping experience. Bathrooms and showers are close by, near Lakeside Landing.

For tent camping, we have gear available that we can loan from our personal camping gear. Whether new to camping or traveling from afar, we'd love to help your camping experience. Please reach out to us and let us know.

RVs and Trailers

Bruno in a parking log

There are a few places that RV and trailers can fit, so long as the road is clear around camp. The primary location is a gravel parking lot near the Superintendent buildings. There are no hookups available on site. Generators are welcome from 8am to 10pm.

Adirondack

Paul and Annica in an adirondack

There are multiple adirondacks (three-walled shelters) available around camp. This was a fond memory of Paul's from Scouting many years ago. We recommend bringing a sleeping pad and sleeping bag, if you want to feel one with nature and out of the elements. Also a great option if you want to camp, but don't want the hassle of a tent.

Bunk Beds and Cabins

bunk beds

Camp Saturna provides mattresses for all available beds, but bedding is the responsibility of the camper. Please plan on bringing bed sheets, blankets and pillows for your sleeping arrangement.

There are four rooms with bunk beds in the Bunkhouse, next to the Dining Hall. Each bunk room is a different size, and until we gauge the needs of our guests, we aren't sure how they will be used.

There are three cabin-like experiences with a twin bed available at Lakeside Landing, for those who wish to be close to nature, but walls are more solid than a tent. The cabins do not have designated bathrooms or AC, though they do have power.
